Talented Roxas based boxer Lloyd Jardeliza makes a welcome return to the sport in next month’s Ultimate Knockout Challenge event in Manila. Being a victim of late call ups, mismatches in unsuitable weight divisions, and lack of structured preparation seems to besiege the Philippines fight game, and Jardeliza has been no stranger to that path! The 26 year old Manila born fighter went pro at the age of 17, and despite terrible placement in his career, has notched up 8 impressive wins (6 KO) Jardeliza was last seen against the classy Pete Apolinar back in 2019, so his return will surely see a slightly larger and rejuvenated fighter.
On December 4, this strong orthodox fighter locks horns with a man who has tread a similar bumpy road, Al “the Rock” Toyogon, a winner of 10 fights, and resuming from a two year break also. This will be a cracking match up, where both fighters boast plenty of firepower, and where Jardeliza will enjoy a height and reach advantage over his bulldog opponent. Lloyd Jardeliza has been training well for this match, putting in great rounds recently with no less than the “wild man” himself – Jino Rodrigo! This is going to be hectic for sure – a “must see” match up!
